The method

01 Measure everything
Area comes off a surveyed polygon with eight handover corners. Tonnage comes off the weighed cuts. If a thing can be measured, it is measured before it is described.
02 Publish the record
15 cuts totalling 1,096.12 tonnes are published in full, including the cut where one pivot returned zero. The gap is what proves the series is a record rather than a curve.
03 Claim nothing that is not on file
Where the sources disagree, the figure is withheld and the disagreement is printed. An unconfirmed number carries a revision mark. A number nobody can source does not appear at all.
